Order MDLPA 348/2026: grades I and II and the extended deadlines
The Minister's Order no. 348 of 24 March 2026 approves the new regulation on the attestation of energy auditors for buildings. It was published in the Official Gazette no. 292 of 14 April 2026 and replaces the 2010 regulation.
Two professional grades
The regulation keeps the speciality «construcții și instalații» (buildings and installations) and the two grades: grade I (AE Ici) and grade II (AE IIci). Grade I may prepare the CPE for all categories of buildings provided for by Law 372/2005; grade II has a narrower scope, detailed in art. 6 para. (2).
Extended deadlines
Art. 10 and art. 11 para. (3) of the new regulation, initially with a deadline of 180 days from publication, were extended until 10 January 2027 by Order MDLPA 1.209/2026 (Official Gazette no. 850 of 9 October 2026). Until then, the general professional training conditions (the diploma) remain those of art. 11 of the 2010 regulation.
